Plot;;
This is where it all begins. In a run down city, things are starting to get wierd. The humans are neglecting their dogs, and the few that aren't don't have a very good lifestyle. There are very few words that dogs can understand in human language, but one that they hear frequently is 'war'.

Now, the humans have done something even more strange. Around the border of the city has been placed an extremely tall steel fencing that even the strongest dog can't dig under. The dogs call it the Wall. It seems like the humans are doing this for protection and to not let anything get in; but what if the dogs want out?

There were a few fourtunate dogs that were outside the city when the wall was placed up, so they're out and can't get in, even if they wanted to. But the dogs inside the city can't see why the would want to come in anyway. The city dogs can't get out, and things seem to be getting worse and worse every day. There's hardly any food, and they only get water when it rains; which is about once every two to three months.

There is no way to get messages to and from dogs outside the Wall. Surely the dogs inside the city would rather be outside the Wall rather than inside, right? Or is the something the humans are afraid outside the Wall able to harm the dogs too? If you're inside the city and able to get out, there's no turning back. If you're outside the city and try and get in and accomplish the task, there's no going back. If the dogs are able to find a way to get in or out of the city, will the choice they make be the right one? Or will their choice cost them their life? Will you be one to live life on the streets inside the city and be content with it? Or would you rather be wild and free outside the Wall? The choice is yours, come and run with us.

Forgive me if I overlooked a place to request to be affiliates. My website is not new, but we just started to get the site up and running and we need allies. I am going to put your Button on my website, and I would like it if you would put my button on your website. If I am mistaken, and you do not take Affiliates, then forgive me. I will no longer take up your time. If you do, however, post on my website in the Affiliates board. Thank you for your time, and have a nice day.

 The Beginning

And so it begins...

The land was cold and rugged, another winter slowly passing the world by. Releasing it's grasp from the sleeping earth and wild creatures. They had survived the bitter cold snows and harsh winds. There were proud and bold. They were wolves, dominators of this land, leaders of their kind. But this winter had been extremely difficult and many wolves had been killed by something far more fearsome than the bear or wild cat, a few of the only living species that could inflict great damage. It pursued the wolves within their own territories, hunted them down with little or no respect of boundaries. By spring this menace was still unknown, lurkinging in the shadows for the next unlucky victim.

While winter was still departing from the air and cool nights, a well-known and respected leader among wolves had been caught in a deadly snare of the threat within the land. His pack fled the shadow and watched from a distance as strange creatures walked from the wood, pale and upright without fur or claws. It sent their senses quivering to scent the blood beneath their thin hides but as they watched they became horrified to see that it was these foul creatures that had taken the life of their leader. Word spread quickly on the voice of the mournful that man had invaded the forests. All unwraveld into chaos.

During this time a long, black wolf padded through, passing deserted pieces of territory and unused or unmarked lands. He was Vocken, the shadow of the raven, and as he learned more plans began to unfold in his devious mind. The wolves who met him told him their sorrows and fears. He was a thoughtful listener and sometimes gave them reasonable, yet foul advise. Soon though, he began to tell them stories, finally beginning to uncoil his plan and pour poison down the free wolves' ears. Of course he began with the omega, the lowly, for they are easily subdued.

"You could be great. Powerful and without fear. You can trust me. I will teach and guide you. Train you into mighty warriors so that man and his wicked tools would be nothing to you. You could combat anything that stands in your way. You would be strong. Then, when you are ready, we take from those who would keep things selfishly, we would take what was rightfully ours and smite those who defy us. We take back the land and game, and all life would quiver with fear and flee before our mighty shadow. I can show you the way... trust me."

Through his listeners he gained control slowly, but with a powerful effect. Soon many wolves were willing to follow him though they fought bitterly within themselves over position of rank. Vocken kept them under his sway through the rest of summer and when winter came again he lead a great army far into the mountains to begin their training. He made them fight one another from dawn until dusk, forcing them to think and to feel their opponents feelings until they had mastered the skill of fight. He had them hunt one another and kill the wild game for pleasure and sport rather than hunger or need. Slowly, very slowly, he etched the blood-lust forever within their veins until too much was not enough and all life eventualy fled from their shadows. They only had one instinct, one will, the will to fight and to dominate. And Vocken had made this so. During the late summer or early autumn he led them down from the isolated mountains and back into the world they had once known.

A few wolves who had stayed had survived winter, though many grew incredibly lonely. They would hear the faint echo of the mountains beyond and shiver with disgust for the calls were laced with bitterness and self-loathing. But they were content and glad that they had not traveled to the high peaks where danger awaited every turn and food was often scarce.

One summer day a young wolf lay sun-bathing on a grassy knoll. His ears flicked and his eyes fluttered open. Behind him soft footfalls of an approaching stranger filled his ears and he sat up, turning to see who it might be. A small pack of large, muscled wolves bounded to him and soon surrounded him from all sides. They seemed to be looking him over. He was a young wolf who had fared for the worst in winter. He was sick and malnourished and fearful at every whisper of wind. Finally they passed judgement and his cries only lasted for a minute. But they were heard and like a warning call, the last remaining free wolves took heed and fled to the base of the mountain, far from Vocken or his wicked pack.

Denasca was passing through the wood and was the only witness to the poor pup's death. Either by fortune or by nature's choice, that young wolf happened to be her only living family and they had spent the last year or so together, unbreakable. In her muzzle was the small, skinny form of a rabbit who had fared no better in winter. Her hunt had been successful but her return journey was in vain as she watched her brother die. She swore, then and there that Vocken would not get away with his murders of unfit warriors and she ran far to where others were gathering. No one argued, no one had the heart, and her bold words and brave demeanor gave them hope against Vocken. She worked her wolves by will and promise, now taking the name of a rebel hoping to sink her teeth into the throat of the one who caused it all...

 The Rules

These rules are simple and straight forward, though I will explain each one so that no mistakes are made. Take time out of your game to read these rules completely for even if one is slightly broken in any way the punishments will not be taken lightly. This site is strictly meant for RPGing. Any information traded is at your own risk and we will not be held responsible for any spamming to your email address. Please read these guidelines, they are for your own good.

  • NO HARRASSING O.O.C. This rule cannot be stressed enough. If any member feels uncomfortable with any member or guest on this site a short term banning will not qualify. A member caught harrassing anyone will be deleted from this site.
  • No Spamming It is rude and uncalled for. Banning may be the only option you will recieve.
  • No Godmoding Members are not aloud to act as another member. Warnings will be issued a few times but if the problem keeps arising punishments will be considered. If you do not know what godmoding is here is an example-
Incorrect way: Name leapt at Name and bit their tail
Correct way: Name leapt at Name hoping to bite their tail.
  • No Point-harvesting Please keep your posts interesting and to the point. We do not need to know everything that you are doing right this moment or any other. Any points you recieve from this will be taken away.
  • Respect Every Member Everyone is worth something on this site. It's very rude to ignore anyone or hurt them in any way. Punishments will vary.
  • This Site Is PG13 Keep your language appropriate and the content clean. This site is not meant to repell anyone. Again punishments will vary.

Regarding Mates

Yes, it is sweet. But again, keep the content clean but realistic. Don't pressure anyone into becoming your mate because that conflicts with the rules. You do have to ask your alpha's permission to become mates with anyone.

Regarding Pups

How cute. But please, ask permission from your alpha's and us, the admins. You do not have to be mates but remember that if you are not the father/mother will have nothing to do with the pups after they are born though you still must rpg them. We will give you the number of pups you may have as a pair and you can split up the responsibility of rping them, naming them, and selecting their sexes. Keep the content clean but realistic again.
